Silt, clay, iron oxide and microbial slime are typical examples of "mud" found in once-through and recirculated cooling water systems. ASI mud conditioners reduce sediment and fouling in cooling water systems; thus assuring good heat transfer and prolonged life for metal components. Applied Specialties’ mud conditioners are concentrated, polymeric mud and silt fluidizers, particularly applicable for high turbidity water in large systems. Because they are concentrated, these conditioners combine both high effectiveness and the convenience and reliability of a liquid product. Applied Specialties’ mud control products have proven results in effectively treating waters high in iron or contaminated by sewage.
